  • PRODUCT INFO

The Ocotillo (Fouquieria splendens) is a plant indigenous to the Sonoran Desert and Chihuahuan Desert in the Southwestern United States. Its unusual form and appearance make it an essential part of southwestern landscapes.

A semi-succulent desert plant, Ocotillo is actually more closely related to tea and blueberries than to cacti.

For much of the year, the plant appears to be an arrangement of large spiny dead sticks, although closer examination reveals that the stems are partly green. With rainfall, the plant quickly becomes lush with small, ovate leaves, which may remain for weeks or even months.

  • WARRANTY INFO

Our plants are harvested, handled, and planted with care, and in accordance with best practicies and first hand knowledge of the native plant industry.

We provide all customers with simple, easy to follow care instructions that will ensure plant survival under typical environmental conditions.

While we stand by the quality of our products, we have no control over plant care, watering practices, environments, or pests once plants are in the ground.

As such, we offer a 1 year half-price replacement guarentee on all purchases:

If your plant does not survive 12 months from the planting date, we will replace it with a plant of equal or greater value for 50% of the original purchase price.

  • DELIVERY INFO

In order to ensure that every plant is properly cared for and installed, we personally deliver and plant all of the bare-root plants we sell.

When you place an order online you will recieve a phone call/email to arrange for delivery.

All Payments are due in person upon delivery.
